Stand with Michael Taaffe to stop Fentanyl deaths

WE’VE JOINED FORCES WITH TEXAS AGAINST FENTANYL (TXAF)

We're fighting side by side against Fentanyl

Texas Against Fentanyl (TXAF), founded by Stefanie Roe after losing her 19-year-old son Tucker to a fentanyl-laced pill, has become Texas’s leading nonprofit dedicated to ending the fentanyl crisis. The organization raises awareness, provides vital resources, and supports families affected by fentanyl poisoning. Alongside Carilu Bell, another bereaved mother, Roe co-founded Angel Moms, a support and advocacy network for grieving parents.

In just two years, TXAF has driven major legislative change, including Tucker’s Law, which mandates fentanyl education in schools, and continues to advocate for prevention and life-saving policies across Texas and beyond.

Every contribution helps TXAF educate communities, support families, and save lives—turning loss into action and hope into change.

Help us win against this epidemic

Tackle Fentanyl:

A Fight for Awareness and Change

In 2021, Michael Taaffe lost one of his closest friends, Jake Ehlinger, to fentanyl poisoning. Jake believed he was taking a prescription medication, but the pill was counterfeit and contained a lethal dose of fentanyl. He never had a chance to know.

Now, Michael is using his voice and platform to make sure others do.
Through the Tackle Fentanyl campaign, Michael and his family are partnering with Texans Against Fentanyl to educate communities about the hidden dangers of counterfeit pills. The campaign honors Jake’s memory and aims to protect other families from enduring the same heartbreak.

The fundraiser includes heartfelt videos from Michael, stories of friendship and loss, and a powerful call to action:

“Know the risk. Save a life. Tackle fentanyl.”
